WordPress will be pre-installed when you order a plan. You only need to enter a few details before you can login to the Dashboard. These include adding the name of the site, a username, password and an email address. After that, you’re good to go.

We don’t provide any templates as there are already thousands freely available which can be installed and activated from within the WP Dashboard (Admin area).

The servers are configured to provide best performance for WordPress only. We don’t allow any other scripts to be installed on them. If you wish to use WordPress and install additional non-WordPress scripts you should consider choosing one of our shared hosting plans where you can install WordPress and any additional non-WordPress scripts.  

Timeline backups are included with the WP Business plan. We provide manual backup option with other plans or you can choose to add Timeline backups as an optional extra which attracts a monthly fee.

Not at all. We don’t lock customers in to our service or make it difficult to move your domain to another registrar. We provide you with a domain control panel giving you complete control including the ability to transfer your domain away without any input from us.

Nothing will happen if you don’t use it for a period of time during its registration period. It will remain active and ready for use anytime during the registration period and will only expire at the end of the period if you don’t renew it when due.

Simply Eddie’s operate an automated system which registers domains within milliseconds of receiving payment. Whilst it takes only milliseconds to register, it can still take anywhere from around 1 hour up to 72 hours before it’s visible to you and ready to use. This delay is because your new domain location information needs to be propagated throughout the Domain Name System (DNS) servers before user browsers will be able to find your website. It’s an automated system, which works on a global scale. As soon as the DNS server that your browser connects to has the information then you’ll be able to access your domain.
