Whilst it takes only milliseconds to register, it can still take anywhere from around 1 hour up to 72 hours before it’s visible to you and ready to use. This delay is because your new domain location information needs to be propagated throughout the Domain Name System (DNS) servers before user browsers will be able to find your website. It’s an automated system, which works on a global scale. As soon as the DNS server that your browser connects to has the information then you’ll be able to access your domain.   

You can buy a domain from anywhere of your choosing. You just have to change the nameservers to ours for your website to work.
